Randy Leech has served as West Texas Project Manager for Ted W. Walters & Associates since May 2018, overseeing a startup project. Since joining TWW in 2006, Randy has worked on a wide variety of projects, including leasing, due diligence, mineral and leasehold title, creating runsheets and title curative. His strong work ethic and commitment to quality work make him a strong contributor to the TWW leadership team.

Randy had 20 years of solid sales experience under his belt when he joined TWW: he’d enjoyed a successful career in electrical sales in Houston with GE, Rexel and FSG Lighting. Preferring wide open spaces over crowded city streets, in 2006 he moved to Sunset, Texas and began his oil and gas career. He’s in good company: both of his brothers are in the industry and his grandfather and a long career in oil and gas, starting out on a drilling rig in central Texas in the early 1900’s, working in the Wilcox sand.

Randy’s mantra as a sales person and as a land professional is to always do whatever it takes to achieve the client’s goals. His hard work and dedication extend to his hobbies as well, as he enjoys team roping and fishing in his spare time. Randy lives in Montague County with his wife Shellie and his stepson Garrett.
