TYLER, TX (October 31, 2019) – On Wednesday, November 6, 2019, Ted W. Walters will present at the East Texas Society of COPAS (The Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies, Inc.) monthly lunch-and-learn. Ted’s presentation will look back at how the land business has changed over the past 40 years and discuss what lies ahead.
When Ted founded Ted W. Walters & Associates in 1992, he was one of two landmen in the organization. Today, Ted W. Walters & Associates regularly contracts 150-200 independent landmen, offering professional land services to the energy sector.
COPAS is a professional organization comprised of the oil and gas industry’s most knowledgeable and influential accounting professionals. COPAS has operated as a non-profit entity for more than 50 years and has 25 societies in the United States and Canada. The East Texas Society has operated for a little over a year.
